Exactly. Because of Sony's clever use of tech, developers can realise 4K with a lot less overheads and because it's built into the GPU there isn't any extra strain on the system. This is just brilliant from Sony and clearly the reason DF are very impressed with the Pro. I'm getting jeolous ...

If money is an issue you can always sell on your current ps4 for around $200 and get the Pro.  

Then there's the matter of a TV ...

There are excellent benefits for a 1080p TV.  Personally I'm going to stick with that for now and either get a 4k TV in the January sales or wait another year for that.  I want the really high end 4k TV'S but I want them to go sub $1000 first.

OP - Do you work for Fox News? Why have you edited out any negative or neutral parts from the original eurogamer article? It's a very well-written piece, as is typical of eurogamer, which provides a balanced view in its entirety (with a reasonable degree of scepticism).
