Forums - Nintendo - What a fool I was with Nintendo...

Nintendo has garnered a lot of hype with first Pokemon Go then appearing on Apples conference (and by the look of things Super Mario Run seemed to be the most well received from the conference lol). For a gaming company that has stayed rather unrelevant as far as gaming goes this year I think they have some momentum right now. A reveal with a few awesome games now would make sense in many ways.

Here I was laughing at them after the announcement of the next console to be released until 2017 (because it was official info, I can disscuss), thinking "this holiday season will be a disaster"...

Yet here I am, looking at Nintendo laughing at my wallet. They throw a bunch of 3DS games including Pokemon and Super Mario Maker 3DS, the Nes Classic Mini and now Super Mario Run for mobiles.

Good job. You won this round Nintendo, but I still have many victories under my sleeve.

PS: Anyone else find "odd" from the last ND that almost nothing is coming in October. Why would that be???

Well that is funny. :)

Maybe October is reserved for NX. ;)

Are you an Animal Crossing fan? Maybe they should also release the AC mobile game this year..

And it will be entirely because of games launched on 3rd party platforms. Interesting that...

The key point is which platform.

I really hope that isnt the future of nintendo... Mobile Games.... please no.

Admittedly Super Mario Run looks pretty neat though, soon as its on android i ll give it a go.

Mobile gaming is where the money really is, whether people like it or not. Having big companies focusing on mobile, like Nintendo, is a good step to make mobile gaming a better environment. I think the next big step for Nintendo would be releasing some sort of gaming Netflix across PC and mobile for their older games. They have a huge backlog they could sell and having good old games where the mainstream public is (mobile and PC) would be good advertising for their hardware.

Not really but I'll maybe give a try. Anyway, it was delayed to 2017.

I'm more excited for FE.
