I don't really think Sony slayed at all, though I don't really find the Pro impressive. Sure, the visuals look better on the pro, but they look great as is on the regular PS4. What they did well is the pricing. It's a pretty good price, as the PS4 was when 1st revealed.

I don't think it will affect Nintendo all that much. They can still be alright if they have good hardware and games on the system. If they have a new gimmick that works well, that could be good for Ninten too.

The PS4 Pro could be a 4x Titan SLI console for 5 bucks and it would still have zero effect on NX sales.

The NX certainly exists. I'm not saying the PS4 Pro changes anything, but the NX exists. Nintendo's giving one away for the Splat Tourney.

The only way Nintendo wins these days, is by releasing casual games on 3DS or mobile.

So I'm out, I'll finally buy a PS4 pro next year.

I actually feel like the announcement was pretty best case scenerio for NX. No native 4k, and no 4k player in the PS4. I'm actually more worried about the PS4 Pro when Scorpio comes out.

As for NX, it's gonna be price point and software lineup. It ensures another weak gen, but who wasn't kind of expecting that anyways.
