Maybe leaning toward a Yes. I enjoy handhelds, so while Vita might have been a bit underwhelming, I would still look forward to a next generation device to see what they've improved.

Not really selling the PS4 there since he could get a PS3 and still buy the game.

I don't know...My sibling and I have a Vita and my sibling is usually one who uses it more than I do (in fact, I rarely play it). I've checked GameStop, Wal Mart, online, etc. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of games I'm interested in and there are games I'd rather get on other consoles. My 3DS and DS have countless games that I've yet to play and there are more that I'm interested in (and yes, there are 3DS and DS games that I'm interested in that are not made by Nintendo). And it's hard to really consider games outside of my region due to language (though some do have multiple languages) and pricing. Plus, not a lot of support from Sony for the Vita so I'm not all that confident about them providing decent support even if the next system doesn't pan out well like the Vita. Specs are great and all, but it takes more than that for me to be interested.

I've never really enjoyed the Uncharted games, I'd rent it at the most.

Get Bloodborne. Awesome game.
