And on the 3rd day after he died for our sins, Bill was resurrected and he ascended into the higher offices of Nintendo, seated at the right hand of Miyamoto.
But in all seriousness
6.5/10
Wasn't expecting anything new and those expectations were met.
2D Pikmin looks pretty neat.
Ever Oasis looks cool.
Skyward Sword on the eShop, I'd be super happy if I didn't already own the Wii version of the game, so I have no reason to double dip..... (rapidly closes Wii U eShop menu)
And as for all the ports of Wii U games, and by that I mean Mario Maker and Woolly World, I say this:
Here Lies the Wii U
It Was Dead Upon Arrival.

Trash. 2/10
Shitty ports nobody has asked for, Pikmin 4 is another 2D sidescroller nobody has asked for, Mario Golf World Tour, Mario Tennis Open and Mario & Sonic Rio slapped into one game for 40 bucks. This Direct was a disgrace to gamers.

Pokemon and Mario Sports are the only things I'll be getting.

What's that link supposed to mean? I was hoping for an answer, not a redirect to another forum.

It's not happening. There's your answer.
I'd say 7.6/10
Zelda amiibo, SMM and Yoshi are good for me since my Wii U broke earlier this year. The Tank game looks kind of neat too. But as some people have said, NX is really all I am thinking about as of right now
There Are Many Paths to Gaming Heaven
I thought it was alright. The best part of the Direct for me was that Skyward Sword is now on the Wii U eShop. This is great to me because I missed out on it last gen and now I can finally play it without having to pay $50-$60 at GameStop (that is if I remember the price correctly).

The good:
- Good rhythm (one game after the other, without too much time waisted in side things
- Well done presentation
- New/ Additional hosts (this lets Bill and Reggie joke around more freely and step in when it is the right time)
- Good amount of content
- Good line-up
- Relatively good amount of new information
- Zelda U/NX Marketing campaign is looking really promising
- Free games/demos in the eshop
The Bad:
- A few multiplayer games were not cleary stated to have online (Mario Party, Mario Maker)
- Most of the content is indie, minor or remake.
- The galaxy 3DS jokes are lame
7.5/10
