like 3rd class citizens!? jk, I think it was ok, but nowhere close to GC levels

they gave up the point when MK8 failed to increase sales in the long term

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Remember when the Nintendo president said that the Wii U customers weren't going to be abandoned? Good times. They are selling it here for £249. Which is exactly the same price as the new Xbox One. Really Nintendo? What's going to happen to the NX? Will they ditch it once it doesn't hit 10 million units on the first week?

They will just have to sell it around the same price as the PS4 or XB1.

NX needs to launch at no more than 249-299$.

We just have to hope nintendo didnt waste money in bad design choices, or get screwed on hardware component contracts, or used weird tech that wont age well and drop in price over time.

Mario Kart 8 itself still did extremely well. So did a new IP like Splatoon. Wii U owners are still a viable audience to sell to...why give up on them now?

Hurt / Meh

I feel dissapointed...... they did a terrible job by rushing its launch, but did little to address all the problems.

They could have invested more in marketing / advertsiment, they could have produced more games to it - or at least searched for partnerships. They SHOULD have launched more of its key franchises for the system, specially Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem and Metroid, AT LEAST these three.

It´s not that I´m not having fun with the system, at the contrary, there are some very good games on it, but I feel that it could, and should, have a wider, bigger game library by now. Development seems to have almost ceased in less than three years after launch. And I feel that all mismanagement of this product really hurted the trust that many Nintendo fans had in the company.

Oh look! Some Wii U owners popping up in this thread to complain how miserable they feel with nintendo's support.
Wii U must be a terrible console for everyone that bought it. Why don't you all put this console on fire, record it and upload on youtube? This absolutely will make Nintendo understand to not treat their consumers like shit

I think Wii U owners were treated very well, look at the games:

Rayman Legends
Super Mario 3D World
Super Smash Bros
Bayonetta 2
The Wonderful 101
Shovel Knight
Super Mario Maker
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Mario Kart 8
Pikmin 3
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
New Super Mario Bros U
New Super Luigi U
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Yoshi's Wolly World
Lego City Undercover
Tokyo Mirage Session #FE
Splatoon
Captain Toad: Treasure Hunter
Nintendo Land
Hyrule Warriors
ZombiU
Pokken Tournament
Resident Evil: Revelations
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD
Deux Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut
Need for Speed: Most Wanted U
Trine 2
Mass Effect 3
Call of Duty Black Ops II
Assassin's Creed: Black Flag
Darksiders II
Child of Light
Bayonetta

I don't think I could even mention 25 decent N64 games

And Zelda and Paper Mario are still coming, both look great. Okay, it didn't./doesn't get a lot in 2016/2017, but compared to Wii in 2011+2012 I think it's fine

I once debated about getting a Wii U, but I lost interest with the lack of games that were releasing. I imagine many Wii U owners are unhappy.

It's absolutely normal to get that idea if you believe that every poster that says that is actually a Wii U owner

What the price they are selling the wii u has anything to do with this thread?

Donkey Kong 64
Star Fox 64
Banjo 1
Banjo 2
Golden Eye
Perfect Dark
Super Smash

That is 10

Paper Mario
Mario Kart 64

Earlier they where claiming to support both, but it's clear now they only care about their handheld market, NX is a handheld also but it can be connected to TV
