It really does look like a mix of Pikmin and Yoshi Island DS to me!

Will be funny kind of if this is the Pikmin game that Miyamoto was actually talking about.

I like the idea to be honest, I like the Pikmin aesthetic but I've always kinda found the games to feel a bit like a chore, maybe a 2D platformer will make the series more accessible.

Well Miyamoto said they were trying to make Pikmin 3 for the 3DS, but couldnt make it work. Thats why I thought it wouldnt happen.

I'm so surprised by this, and so in love with it! Looks intriguing, fun and so cute! Hope you can also play with other characters besides Olimar. I'm really looking forward to this!
