Uncharted 2

When I'm in this kind of situation I tend to look at how long does it take to beat the game....so I can move on to another.

That said, Uncharted 2 and TR are quite short...though if you were fan of original TR I'd say stay away from it, or at least forget that it's called TR and just pretend it's some other IP.

Batman is really great game, though I like Arkham Asylum more...City was bit confusing in first hour or so for me, but I've played them in succession so Asylum was too fresh in my mind...so that's probably it.

Doom - FPS on console...no thanks...I play often with controller, but I will never ever play FPS with it if there's a chance to play it with kb/m.

TP - as much flak as this game gets I find it one of the best 3D Zeldas. Great dungeons, great combat.

Fallout 4 is...well, it's utter garbage if you're Fallout fan, it's really poor if you're RPG fan, but if you're fine with FPS-RPG games and like to wander around then it's a half decent game.

I have a pretty huge backlog of games I want to / Have to play. I will provide the games to chose from, and a small comment on it that might be of help.

Uncharted 2 (PS4) - First game was ok, didnt really sell me the franchise though.

Batman: Arkham City - Armoured Edition (Wii U) - Never played a game in the franchise

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD (Wii U) - Havn't played the original, Windwaker is my fav 3D Zelda.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (PS4) - Havnt played TOmb Raider since the 90's

Fallout 4 (PS4) - New to the franchise

Doom (PS4) - Love me some Doom, but never really enjoyed FPS games on console before.

I want to play them all, just cant make up my mind. Pick a game and say why I should play it.

Aw, shucks, option not available, sorry for you, then choose Fallout 4 or Zelda.

I would say uncharted 2 because you can beat that in 2 days and move on to the next game of your backlog.

Some tough choices indeed.

Uncharted 2 is a brilliant game, deserving of a spot amongst the best games of all time. It's a big step up from the first game and still the best in the series. It's extremely polished and a fun story to boot with some cool set-pieces. Definitely recommended. Personally I'd say this game is the high-point in the series though, so if you'd play Uncharted 3 and 4 afterwards, try not to expect it to get better than 2.

Twilight Princess is a very refined Zelda game, with some of the best dungeons and boss fights ever in probably any video game. If you liked Ocarina of Time, you will like Twilight Princess. However because it plays it safe in that regard, you may be let down since Wind Waker is your favorite; people usually like one or the other. Besides Fallout 4, which you can make as long as you want almost, Twilight Princess is the longest of these games, I've been 100%-ing it (without guides) and I'm at almost 65 hours now with still a dungeon and an optional dungeon to complete and some more collectibles to find.

Tomb Raider was a surprise to me, I liked that game a lot. It's semi-open world and it really encourages the exploration. It has some extra depth in combat versus say Uncharted, some good puzzles and I found it brought some fresh new gameplay elements to the genre. I had a better time with it than with Uncharted 4, though the latter and the other Uncharted games have a way more clever story and more interesting character developments.

As to what you should play, I'm biased towards Twilight Princess, but I'd say you can't go wrong with any of these three.

My favorite out of all those is Uncharted 2. The first one is a pretty bad game, imo, but Uncharted 2 is a huge improvement.

Depending on what was your trouble with the first Uncharted, I'd say pick Uncharted 2. It has a lot more variety, and overall it's a much more polished game. It's not radically different though, so if it's the basic idea you don't like, you might not like Uncharted 2 either.

'Fun' fact related to Uncharted: I finished my first playthough of Uncharted 3 just last night. I loved the first two, but only recently got Uncharted 3 because I hated the online pass thing when the game was released (and still do, but at least the game was cheap now).

Uncharted 2. So you can understand why the series and ND shined after this game.
