Not really..... There is a certian amount of consoles that can be sold at $350. And a differemt amount that can be sold at $250.....etc

If the PS4 comes in at $250 this holiday then thats going to drive its on sales and it will sell more than any holiday before this one. Neo or not.

Neo has to come out this year. Like others have said, announcing it next week, and not delivering would not be good for sales. Additionally, why would they do an entire event for a cheap device like the PS4 2000? They will announce PS4 Neo next week and it will be out in time for VR.

Ok. the original leak said that and has 3 new chips coming. 1 this year and 2 next year. 

The XB1s and PS4s do not count as new chips. They are both revised (new fabrication process) versions of already existing chips. Simply a shift from 28nm to 16nm or something like that.

And I won't put stock in the NX going with Nvidia, everyone that has in the past has nothing but bad expericnes to go along with it. And Nvidia is always going to be more expensive than AMD. 

So we have one new chip to come this year (neo) and two to come next year (NX and scorpio). This is not saying that they neo can't be pushed to next year tho, but that doesnt mean it wasn't ready for this year either.

Simply put.... there are  way more people willing and going to buy a $250 console than there are willing to buy a $400 console.

Ok thanks for clearing that out but there are lot of big sites and pretty reliable sources saying its powered by Nivida so if that's true that could mean someone new is entering the console race but for now it's best to wait and see the NX specs.

It very well could be. If those rumors are true, the "controller" will be it's own standalone console and then there will be a home box that gives the whole system more power. 

Nintendo is crazy enough to out a tegra chip in the controller from nvidia and then an AMD chip in the home box. But going with a tegra chip alone will mean they aren't going to be able to compete with Sony and Ms at all.
