GT7 predicted 2016, instead GTS for 2016. But wait!!! that is false as well.

IMHO new hardware is really damaging these development times. Split generations will probably sell more hardware but less software at this rate.

just polyphony? Sony's entire first party has become a joke when it comes to meeting deadlines. what was the last AAA game they released that didnt get delayed? probably Killzone Shadow Fall.

Gran Turismo's success being tied to Yamauchi is something that he has used over the years to make Polophony his private fiefdom, it's the only studio that's a subsidary of Sony with it's own board of directors . Incidently that's also why we see sales figures on their website.
