Right now it's still Shin Megami Tensei IV, have yet to play a game from this gen that comes close to it.
Maybe Ys VIII could replace it though, it looks ridiculously good!!!

Hard to say, I don't really feel like I've encountered a game that I would consider GOTG. Dying Light would slightly come close to it.
