NLG should never, ever be allowed near the Metroid series again, especially not a main console entry.

Once BotW is released all Monolith Soft developers go back to their next RPG which has been worked on since probably May 2015 (month following Xenoblade X's release) at least by a portion of the the team |
uhm after this Federation Force garbage I don't trust Next Level Games at all. beyond the gameplay just being wrong to be associated with Metroid, visually its also hugely lacking, even if it is a handheld game.

If Next Level Games doesn't work on it, then there won't be another Metroid game for another 6/7 years. While I know for shure that the whole Federation concept for MPFF was created by Tanabe and Nintendo I think the Chibi artstyle was their fault aswell. Not only NLG is the only western studio capable of making a Metroid game (since Retro seems to have lost interest in the IP) but beeing western they are most likely to listen to the fans' feedback about Federation Force, which should indicate them the right direction to follow with MP4.
