I dont believe in the death penalty, and thankfully we dont have it here.
Conviction isnt always flawless.
There are innocents, that have gone to death row (many of them).
I hear somewhere (cant remember where) that like 1/3 of them even admitted/where coversed into a confession.
Then along comes the ability to test dna, and what do you know, alot of people on death row, where actually the wrong guy they imprisoned.
That alone makes me not believe in death penalty.
You cant kill 1 innocent, even if it means you get the other 9 right.
Also the "2 wrongs dont make a right".
I also believe its a easy out, they should be made to waste away in a small cell, thinking about how it was they got there.
