I dont believe in the death penalty, and thankfully we dont have it here.

Conviction isnt always flawless.
There are innocents, that have gone to death row (many of them).
I hear somewhere (cant remember where) that like 1/3 of them even admitted/where coversed into a confession.

Then along comes the ability to test dna, and what do you know, alot of people on death row, where actually the wrong guy they imprisoned.

That alone makes me not believe in death penalty.
You cant kill 1 innocent, even if it means you get the other 9 right.

Also the "2 wrongs dont make a right".
I also believe its a easy out, they should be made to waste away in a small cell, thinking about how it was they got there.

The U.K. Does have the death penalty, serious cases of treason against the country are still punishable by death in the UK.

That was removed from law in the late 90s, it's just a myth that it still exists. No death penalty in the UK anymore.

Hmm, pie.

I'm against it, except in the case of mass murderers and serial killers in the case of the presence of evidence beyond any doubt.

The Netherlands: No death penalty
Overall I feel like its probably for the best.

In Belgium, no. The death penalty is worthless.

US, Maryland. The death penalty was abolished here in 2013 by the governor. I've seen too many erroneous convictions and too many false convictions to support it. In OklahomaCity there was a forensic chemist named Joyce Gilchrist who was actively falsifying evidence to obtain convictions for capital crimes. She ended up being dismissed from the job but never charged. However, several rape and capital murder convictions she was a part of ended up being overturned and the city paid millions in lawsuits.

Left governments have put an end to death penalty in many countries around the world. The justice system is more concerned about the rights of criminals than delivering justice for the victims. It breaches human rights when a serial killer or murderer is put to death.

Fuck yeah! USA!

Here's my feeling, these people are still a threat to others in prision so just kill them if their crime justifies it. But only do it in cases they're unquestionably guilty. We have serial killers and terrorist sitting in prision. Just end them.

USA- Depends where you live. Some states do, some don't.

I am all for removing murderers and rapist and other violent criminals from the ranks considered living. I believe however it should be completely undisputed proof to do so. If their is any inkling of doupt the death penalty should not be used.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

Sweden. Thankfully we don't have it.

I don't get why anyone would trust a state, or worse, lawyers to get it right 100% of the time when convicting people. You're always gonna get innocents killed.

And is a single innocent death worth society exerting revenge on killers? Is it worth it?

I LOVE ICELAND!
