Well if you have no idea what I mean, then theres no reason to keep on discussing it.

I totally have idea what you mean, but I telling you are wrong and I gave you clear arguments why exatly you are wrong.

Im not wrong. Its the same reason I prefer Resident Evil 4 over the older Resident Evil games. Sure they are all in 3D, but RE4 has full 360 degree movement of the camera.

I really don't see how what you preferred in RE games has anything with this talk about 3D Mario games.

Igave you clear arguments why exactly you are wrong, why SM3DW is proper Mario 3D game and why future 3D Mario games want be and like SM3DW, but you didn't answer me on those arguments.

Thats because you cant see the difference between SM3DW and the older console Mario 3D games. You just say "They are all in 3D. End of story."

I already gave you argument for that one, do you see difference between Mario Galaxy and Mario Sunshine/Mario 64, Mario Galaxy is way too linear compared to them, and buy your point we can say Mario Galaxy is not proper 3D Mario game beacuse its too linear compared to them.

You can turn the camera 360 degrees around Mario in Galaxy. Just like you can in Resident Evil 4. Thats why we call it proper 3D. SM3DW plays more like a 2D Mario game where the camera is fixed in one position and just follows you for most of the time.

So 360 degrees camera is thing that makes some game 3D or proper 3D game!? Sry, but offcourse thats not true at all.

Nice to see someone else who prefers RE4 to the older ones. :)

Regarding 3DW, the way I see it is that it tries to fuse the conventions of 2D and 3D Mario, though in my opinion is kinda loses the best parts of both in the process, having neither the pace nor tightness of the best 2D games nor the scope and more dynamic level design of the best 3D ones.

Well it makes the gameplay different...and I prefer the gameplay of the older 3D Mario games because of that. It might not be the official explanation for it, but now you know why some of us prefer it.

The 3rd dimension is what makes it a 3D game.

However if your view point is fixed so your looking at things from the side, like a 2D game.... it makes playing a 3D game, simular to that of a 2D one.

Your both right.

And people that say 3Dworld is a "real" 3d mario game are wrong imo.

Yes the fixed camra angle from the side, means its not in my opinion, which is every bit as valid as yours.

also I give "zero" f***s for multiplayer in mario.

I want a old school 3D collectathon mario game.

Totally agreed.

If Nintendo can convince me to get an NX, I'd buy the shit out of a Mario 64 sequel. On the other hand, if they made another 3D World, I wouldn't buy it.
