Pretty straight forward question. I've seen a lot of discussions surrounding this topic and, given the Championships are taking place next week, it'll be nice to see what VGChartz thinks about it.

Of course. Why wouldn't it? Is it something exclusive to any genres now. E-sports aren't really sports. They are playing videogames competitively for money. The game can even be Tetris, it doesn't matter for the definition.
