NX will be two separate devices, handheld and home console.
Nvidia hasn't announced any thing related to console gaming. Unless something has changed recently, the Tegra line of chips are being targeted for nongaming devices like self driving cars. The biggest question mark about the Nvidia/Nintendo relationship is that there isn't anything out side of rumors supporting it. There should have been a design win announced by Nvidia. AMD has multiple design wins announced that don't have a confirmed customer.

Ah, the plot thickens. I still think NX is 2 consoles. A handheld that's powered by Tegra X1, and a home console powered by AMD. Or, the Tegra rumors are just bologna. This is very interesting. I really wish Nintendo would just say something already.
And the plot thickens yet again.
As I have said many times before, we are being fed so many rumours that at this point I believe in nothing outside of Nintendo showing the damn thing.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

So the Tegra part of the Tegra rumor set is bullocks. Question is, is it all bullocks? My gut says yes, but we will see.
1. Article is from May.
2. Article is speculating based on design wins that AMD announced.
3. AMD did not confirm if the design win was for Nintendo. esp given that PS4 Neo and Scorpio count as new design wins.
In other words, this thread is misleading and should be closed.
Well another debunk NX rumor, Nvidia want nothing with console manufacturers.
34 years playing games.

I'd be surprised if nvidia is involved with Nintendo in any capacity.
