Hopefully something almost or identical to the ones you can attach to the sides of the iphone/ipad.

Im not sold on the idea of detachable controllers... just leave them on there imo.

seriously I have no fucking idea what to expect anymore, this is getting a bit crazy with all of the question marks about attachments. Lego-ish is very accurate sounding

I do want to mention this though: a company like Nintendo when experimenting with this stuff will put in a MILLION patents, many of which will probably never be used but that they will enter to protection themselves

I don't really mind a "LEGO console", I think that'd be kinda cool actually.

The Wii had a million add-ons and different plastic controllers, even the main controller required a nunchaku add-on to be functional in even 2/3 of the games.

Still worked out OK, consumers are not that dumb, they understand how to plug something in as long as you make it easy. 

I would like it if those detachable things would click on with magnets, like with MagSafe on the MacBook Pro.

Other than that I have no idea whatsoever and will just wait for Nintendo to announce something. Should happen quite soon now.
