Alright, I tried different comp levels. I did a couple FFA with a level 9, a level 8, and a level 7 respectively on Eldin bridge (I was sonic, so I could just run, run, run). The result? They chase me back and forth, and occasionally hit each other along the way.

I will try a team game to see how they respond to all being on different teams.

I noticed that too, right away i end up with like 80% dmg in a matter of sec but i better better and started owning thoe bots. also i noticed that they made the bots smarter (if your over one they will grab a box/crate and throw it up more often. Also they dodge more when you chuck things at them.

Wow! I never noticed that, but Ijust tested it and you're totally right. However, I must say that, one-on-one, the computer is a much better opponent this time around.

now that's just lame, even if they are on seperate teams, they still target you. With a 3 man team battle, I was red, toon link blue, and Game and Watch Green. They are just chasing me back and forth across eldin bridge. What kind of asinine decision was this to make it so computers won't fight each other?

Huh I didn't notice. Probably because I've played more 1 V 3 matches then free for all.

Sad. I like being able to avoid people and then target the group with items.

It's probably to stop said abuse... where you make sure they are all targeting each other then hit them with an item.

Yeah 1v1 the comps are smarter, and they gave them even more ungodly reflexes. Perfect sheilding and dodging almost everything, still no match for a human 1v1, but better than melee.

Bah, so dumb that I can't have a FFA with comps anymore. Oh well.

lol, they still target me completely ignoring my partner. On Eldin bridge my partner, Dedede, is chasing the 2 comps throwing waddle dees at them, while they chase me across the stage.

lol, I'm actually winning this match without attacking at all. They refuse to fight my partner, so I'm just running around while he beats the crap out of them.  DeDeDe racked up 6 kills in 2 minutes while I didn't throw a single punch, the comp did take out my partner once with a final smash (meant for me no doubt).
