Forums - Gaming - [RUMOR]PS VITA TRINITY announce at Playstation Meeting

Looking at Gaf the main source for it being a portable has seemingly been struck down. Nothing much to see here.

And gaf mods now changed the title of the thread to: FCC wireless chip filing makes me think Sony will announce new Vita hardware

Rip

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

lol@thread. I should mark it for future references.

Now where do i do this. Hm... hu... mmmh... hum... huh...

Hunting Season is done...

Sounds like NeoGaf debunked this as false.

Neo, Morpheus and now Trinity... That sounds like that movie, what was the name?
Can´t remember, what was it anyways?
Hum...
Oh yes, Los Tres Amigos.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

If it has homebrew and other goodies at start like psp had.
Vita failed because closed system + uninteresting games.

You're probably going to get stoned for saying that but it's true. Everybody I knew that had a PSP, had a hacked PSP with eboots. It was so easy to do and so ramant. It was essentially the cheapest and most versatile way to play roms from NES-PS1, with the exception of saturn, as well as PSP games.

These FCC filings are for a wireless card that's almost assuredly used in handheld/mobile device, not a console.

This page https://gyazo.com/b0ea189bc0766fe9215b03354c2bf81d mentions a PIFA antenna, which is a Planar Inverted-F Antenna.

"Inverted-F antennae are widely used in compact hand-held wireless devices where space is at a premium. This includes mobile phones and tablet computers using wireless transmissions such as GSM, Bluetooth, and WiFi."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverted-F_antenna

This is from GAF. Truth is, everyone has a different opinion since this FCC are up to interpretations. That's why i posted the word RUMOR for the thread. If we were 100% sure this is not for a handheld/VITA successor GAF's mods would have locked it hours ago.

And how's all that looking now?  Your own source is debunking it.

Oh very convinient for you. Still doesn't change the fact that you misread the thread a while ago...

If true it better have 4G LTE. That is the only thing that killed the Vita. Sony neded to allow gamers to use the thing as a phone, and have it on them 24/7. If that had happened, they would be sitting pretty in the mobile makrket right now.

I still feel like a new mobile platform should hit ground zero once 7nm FinFET arrives, and PS4 games on the go becomes a reality. This would allow all PlayStation games to work on home and mobile PlayStation devices, which would be the best thing that ever happened to a sony mobile device, and also bring in some much needed F2P titles on PS4.

In addition, they would be piggybacking their own tech, in hardware, software, ang networking. The cost for this device would be extreamly low, and could easily make it on a much smaller userbase than apple an google mobiles.

Xperia is dead, and Sony does not want to completely exit the mobile space. Kaz said some months back that no innovation has happened in the phone industry in many years, and Sony was set to shake up the market. perhapps, this is it.

KBG29 on PSN&XBL

I really don't see this happening. If anything its probably a third version of the Vita that's very cheap to make.
