I'm just going to play using the Wiimote along and let anyone else play whatever control style they want.

Currently wrapped up in: Half Life, Portal, and User Created Source Mods
Games I want: (Wii)Mario Kart, Okami, Bully, Conduit,  No More Heroes 2 (GC) Eternal Darkness, Killer7, (PS2) Ico, God of War1&2, Legacy of Kain: SR2&Defiance


My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.

 I seriously doubt the budget was cut for the wheel.  That doesn't mean the game will end up perfect though, either...still looks sorta "meh" in some spots.

I only have to controllers and I will try it with the Wheel but I don't think I will continue using it later on. Haven't used any plastic swords, shields, golf clubs or tennis rackets before so I think I'll be fine with out.

I think I will get 1 extra one, but I will probably just get a cheap third party one... I don't mind using the remote alone but I think the wheel will be extra incentive for my dad and sister who might want to play.

Seriously, who gets a guide for Mario Kart?

And I'm surprised the Wheel isn't $20.

"Well, if the response to WiiPlay is any indication, the first week sales of MK are going to be peppered with the usual crowd claiming that the sales don't count because "People are just buying it for the wheel"... :p"

WiiPlay is a $10 game and a $40 peripheral, MKWii is a $35 game and a $15 peripheral, so at least it makes up more than 2/3 of the retail price. :P

 I agree simply because the franchise is pretty big for Nintendo, but it doesn't look like they are taking a lot of risks.  That could be a good thing though, we will just have to see.

15$ for the wheel??? If you sub. that from the price of MK Wii, u would get $35. The seperate wheel is waaay overpriced
