The Wii has had 8 weeks in its life when it sales were less than 200k

The PS3 has had 9 weeks in its life when its sales were over 200k

 

note- I did this on a really quick check, so I could be off 1-2 either was for the PS3, I am pretty sure the Wii number is 7... and should be that way for a while.

Note- This is to show how great Wii sales are, not to discredit PS3 sales. PS3 is looking up in 08(at least in the west) and sales have been strong all year and it still has MGS4, GT5, and FFXIII mega exclusives to push it up... Needless to say, it won't effect Wii sales, but it will effect 360 sales.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I think your calculation might be off by a bit. I'm counting 9 weeks of PS3 sales over 200K just in this past X-mas period.

yea, I thought I might have been 1 or 2 off, it is hard to counting the holidays when it is all strunched up on the graph.

The Wii only has 1 week under 200k that is not in that stretch in spring last year I believe.

Yet the Wii still has crap for third party support. Bigjon has to be one of the worst spammers on VGChartz, and this is his second totally pointless thread in a row. Good job!

The ps3 has 14 weeks in its lifetime were its sales surpassed 200k.. dude your estimate was way off.

Also you were off by 1 week with the wii, it was 8 weeks it dropped below 200k.

Yea this was worthless spam..... Nice try at taking a shot at me. I even tried to give the PS3 some credit, but the fanboys still attack.... Just face the music please, in console sale PS3 will not touch the Wii. In quality of games I think it will keep pace.

And this is not a pointless thread, I believe it shows the Wii domination over its competition in a very clear manner. I have read many of your post in the past and all you ever do is attack Nintendo(DS and Wii) obviously it must be hard for you after all those years PS domination to see things the way they are now.
