That was the point? Here let me consolidate your whole OP in to a smaller, more to the point post.

There, is that the point you want to get across? WE KNOW! We're all on a sales site right now,  the Wii sells a lot.

 And if you're going to show difference in sales, atleast be accurate. Showing differences in numbers you just made up doesn't help anyone does it?

I did recount, I found 1 more week for Wii that was under 200k(it was like 197k or something like that) and found 2 more PS3 week over 200k. Either way leo-j if they were over 200k it was holidays and not to much to bragg about. Even the poor GC used to do 200k during the holidays(at least the first couple)....

And the Eurogamer post was lame. I just noticed a trend and then posted it. I did not have the time to reseach all console and their reviews. I admitted in my own post that I was off, Eurogamer screws games from every console.

if it wasn u could have chosen another titlte or do some really good research and of course put x360 numbers there so it could be a good comparison.

however,i think that all u try to do is underestimate the ps3 in favor of the wii.

we all know that the wii for the time being is the ds of home consoles in term of sales, however the ps3 and the x360 arent the psps of home consoles and that will become obvious as AAA titles will be released for both consoles and wont release on the wii(yes i am talking about third party games not first,we all know that all 3 consoles hava good first party titles)

why are facts so offensive to PS3 fanboys? It doesn't discredit your system at all. You're the ones who always claim the Wii is just a fad/toy/not direct competition to the PS3. If so, who cares how it sells. Your beloved system is selling well; you don't really have an excuse anymore to act like cranky douchebags over every minute thing you decided is a slur against the PS3.

And to all the Wii fans: quit finding obscure, random statistics that demonstrate how well the Wii is selling. We know it's a success. We know it's selling well. But we don't care if it's only sold under 200,000 8 times. The only people bored/devoted enough to care will look pointless stuff like that up on their own anyway.

 the only problem is that "ps3 fanboys" dont start topics at least not so often saying sth about the wii and how ps3 is better than that.

I like comparisons but i like them to be fair and baised on true analysis and facts,and of course taking into account all parameters not just a simple fact like wii sold 200k ps2 sold 230k ps2 is better than wii(its just an example,dont start quoting),and the truth is that there are hundreds of theads analysing a fact however forgetting thousandsof others.

and i can tell u that the point of this thread its just pointless and its goal is a fight,so i would advise (at least i will) stop anwering in this threat i mean thread................

And FYI, I do think this is a junk thread that will do (and has done) nothing but lead to irrational posts as I implied in my first post.

I knew this thread was going to be a disaster when I saw it, but I wasn't expecting the childish personal attacks right off the bat. The mods need to stop looking for arbitrary rules to invent and the wrong users to permaban and need to start keeping the fanboys under control.
