Wii U graphics still look good to me, so I'd have no problem with NX being on par or slightly better than Wii U graphically.

My concerns are (A) will it get a consistent stream of high quality software with more games that push boundaries instead of playing it safe, and (B) will it be a reasonable price.

The largest problem is, If this turns out true and the NX is weaker than both the xbox one and PS4, which have been out a couple of years so developers are able to extract more performance from them.
Is 3rd party developers are not going to port their games to the NX because its to much trouble supporting an underpowered device. Lack of 3rd party software is going to kill the device like it did to the Wii U

The wii u was between ps3 and ps4... just saying.

Remember, if the rumors are true than this is also the successor to 3DS which does get solid 3rd party support. Think of this as a device that is meant to merge the support of Wii U & 3DS.

You will likely see strong Japanese, indie & family friendly support. Mainstream western support is up in the air but if they can get things like Madden, FIFA & Call of Duty than that would be an extra bonus.

Good news for people who care that much about graphics. I need to see the software.

Why do you guys not get that this is a hand held? I am seeing a report that says Game Freak is making a mainline Pokemon title for NX. Mainline Pokemon titles have never come to a Nintendo HOME CONSOLE. That would basically be confirmation this is a hand held console. Yet, that article attempts to say this console, one that uses cartridges and has everything in common with a hand held (including using Tegra mobile processor for fucks sake), is a home console. If these rumors are true, at what point will you people start to understand this console is a hand held? This console is not the successor to Wii U; that console will come in time. This console is screaming hand held and a lot of you are in denial. I am shocked by this.

This console is no more a home console than Wii U is a hand held console; ie, it isn't.

If the rumors are true, its both. That has been made painfully clear by now.

The Vita seems more between PS2 and PS3 to me. I can tell you this. It's certainly more powerful than PS2. Put Killzone Mercenary next to Killzone on PS2, then you'll see were the power is. The best looking Vita games look markedly better than the best looking PS2 games IMO.
