That Broncos-Raiders game could be very interesting...

So I log into NFL this morning, see the MNF score was 20-10, and think to myself "sweet, another spot on prediction." Then I see that the Bears won.

What. The. Actual. Fuck?

On the bright side, Dallas is 6-1.

Edit: Soon to be 7-1

I was going to say that you shouldn't count on any free wins in the NFL, but then I saw that the Cowboys are playing Cleveland.

Yeah, might as well just write in a "7" in the win column for Dallas now.

Bears finally looked like a real team last night. Hopefully this is a sign that their post-bye week play will be worth watching. Excellent game all around really.

With the way the NFL seems to go, Dallas will probably lose that game.

I agree the NFL is inconsistent, but there's a few things that you can always count on.

#1: Whenever an AFC East team genuinely looks like they might catch up with New England, they will inevitably get upset in the next game by some team they shouldn't possibly lose to. If they're playing the Patriots next, they will lose that game, and then proceed to lose again the following week to some team they shouldn't lose to. Pretty sure that one came as part of the package deal made with Satan for Belichick's soul.

#2: The Browns will lose everything.

#3: If your team lost, it's the ref's fault. If your team almost lost, it's the ref's fault it was close. Also the NFL has a conspiracy against your team and just really wants them to lose for some yet to be determined reason. The one exception for this rule is Cleveland. They just suck regardless.

#4: Smoking weed will always be far worse than punching your wife in the face. Lay off the pot, you druggie.

#5: Andy Reid has no idea how to manage the clock. Now that I think about it, he probably doesn't even know how time works. If it's late 4th quarter, and Andy Reid's team is down, just turn the game off and pencil them in for a loss. Actually, check that, use pen.

Hahaha, spent pocket change, and won almost $190 by betting Chicago moneyline, under, and parlay for the Monday game. The Vikings are a dumpster fire that finally is crashing back to earth. We've found our 2016 Falcons stand-in. Speaking of the Falcons, they might not have the defense to hold up in the playoffs, but I do think they'll do enough to keep that division win this time.

Anyone else use Bovada or the like? Pretty fun stuff. If my conference champion parlay bets work out, I'll have $2k. Not likely, but fun anyway. I might throw together a few other alternate parlays to see if I can total out about $30 in bets that will give me several ways to hit $1k-$2k.
