As long as they didn't expect it to do 7.5 million first year they will probably do. It seems on track to sell 5 million in it's first year. I doubt Sony could be sad about such a number.

Wow $56m digital is crazy. I wonder how much the game cost to make? It is probably already profitable for Sony by the sounds of things.

Well, since there is not much of a discussion here... I guess I'll just say congrats to Sony for this deserved success.

I think this is a showcase of ND first party power (wich is nothing new) more than Sony as a whole, but maybe I'm overthinking.

So... Retro Studios' Metroid Prime and Donkey Kong Country games don't contribute to the general picture of Nintendo's first party output?

 

OT: Nice to hear that Sony see Uncharted 4's performance as "especially well" and that it was a big part of the division's record breaking operating income.

Personally, I prefer TLOU between that and UC but the success is deserved none the less.
