Just because you're some super 'fan' of any series, doesn't mean that every game will please you. The game looks fine, but i'm sure there will always be someone to hate on something...
Just don't play the game and keep playing TTYD if you're truly in the mood for a "real" Paper Mario.

I'd recommend you trying Paper Jam.
It's more of M&L than Paper Mario, but it's a good game nonetheless.
Also, I guess it's nice to see the series change without being ultimate trash. Not too many series are capable of changing dramatically without becoming a pile of trash

I like the way Color Splash looks. I haven't played Sticker Star, but I would to try that and Color Splash sometime.

Obviously I'm not going to get the game, but I can't avoid the fact that my once favorite game series is trash now and hasn't had a true installment in over 10 years (though atleast SPM was still good).

Personally I liked all four games released.
Sure sticker star isn't perfect, but I enjoyed it
besides, the original paper mario is 8 bucks on the eshop, while super paper mario is 15(I think). Worth it for those who don't like the newer releases
