I am playing Sticker Stars now (Nintendo Selects) and think that it is quite good, except for some "stupid" puzzles.
If Colour Splash is the same or better it is a buy for me.

Maybe not in the dislike bar but the reception was very negative, with tons of people saying how much it was going to suck, at the end it was a superb platformer. |
Maybe, but the reception of 3D World definitely wasn't this bad. To be honest, I never understood the negativity towards that game, because 3D Land was very good, so there was no chance in hell that 3D World would be the opposite, not if the same staff that worked on 3D Land was involved in the development. I know that the main criticism against 3D World was that it isn't as ambitious as previous 3D Mario games, but, yeah, many actually claimed it was going to be terrible.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Not at all. SM3DW negativity was not about it potentially sucking, but it not being Galaxy 3 or something in similar vain.

Since when did common RPG parlance become "buzzwords"? I mean, we're in an age of buzzword overuse but none of those are "buzzwords"
Also, IGN is inconsistent (mainly way too many people work there so there's no coherent, consistent perspective represented), but these particular 2 are usually fine. in fact, most of your NVC members are pretty good.
I can't wait for this game. And yes, I've played the first games as well.

Read Rol's post.
I wasn't here when that happened but I saw an incredible backlash all around internet, in fact, if you watch that trailer one of the most voted comment is:
"Remember when we all thought that this would be the worst Mario game ever? I thought that, now it's my 2nd favorite Mario game, currently the Wii U's best game, and it's sitting at a 94 on Metacritic. WE ALL DUN-GOOFED."
Hopefully the know-it-all-haters that have "known" from the very first segment on Nintendo Direct that the game sucked are proven wrong.

Buzzword in the context I meant was these guys trying to describe this game as an RPG.
"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"
Isn t IGN the same site that called the dev for the Ninja Guiden (sp) games trash and even though they are generally respected if not highly respected fighting games
I hope Color Splash is a good game- it looks very nice - great art style - if the game play matches then great
but still too bad they can t maintain the RPG aspects- I am really enjoying my 1st play through of Paper Mario 64

They were describing elements of the game with words that best served that purpose. I've seen most of the things they described and their words used are fitting.
