Activision has Blizzard so no. EA is still significantly worse.

I agree Blizzard has always been good, but EA also has Bioware, which has made good games and overall I think they just published more good games and less bad games, even if you put the Blizzard card on the table! :)

Both companies are disgusting but Activision is worse. They never do anything genuine, everything is extremely polished and cynical to generate the highest possible revenue streams.

At least EA releases some genuine games on occasion, like Dragan Age and Crisis.

EA may have suckish DLC ways, but they have Mass Effect. So that's enough for me. Lmao

Make it Activision Blizzard and the answer is yes, just look how they are charging 70€ for Overwatch a 6GB online only game. You have to pay even to watch their press conference

EA used to be bad, but they really tried to clean up their reputation in the latter years of the 7th gen, though they still aren't perfect. Activision hasn't changed at all in decades. Nowadays every publisher except Sony "milks" their franchises. That's not unique to either of these two.

The Sim City reboot was one of the biggest travesties to gamers in a long time, and it happened in 2013.

Well... Firstly you didn't state that there will be free DLC for life and secondly, it is only $40 for the PC version. And what do you mean you have to pay to watch their press conference? You can watch Blizzcon for free on twitch... You can pay for their premium which allows you to watch their rewatch the games, replays and get special skins and goodies but the conference itself is free...

And EA published TitanFall which was online only for $70 which had paid map packs so idk how you can say that Overwatch makes Blizzard a worse company when EA did something even worse than that... Yea TitanFall has larger space but space =/= quailty or content, specially since all of Overwatch's heroes and maps in the future will be free...

Both I'd say but EA that bit more for killing franchises and studios I loved throughout the years. I'm never going to get a new AAA C&C game or one that does away with the tripe that was C&C 4, same with Sim City and Sims.

lol At the inclusion of Blizzard though, separate company that still holds it's own brain, but hey lets include them because different beef.

I imagine if asked "do you hate Bethesda or X company", Bethesda will be chosen because PC players got Skyrim remaster for free but you have to pay full price on current gen =P.

Also Overwatch's plan is so much better by miles comapred to Battlefront that launched with lacking content and then asks you to pay another £45 for season pass which still hasn't finished dripping all the content and it's nearing a year old already. Overwatch is simply buy and get future characters and maps for free, that's like tons better than what EA and Activision do these days.

Loll, it would be weird if Skyrim Remastered wasn't free tbh. Skyrim mods make the PC version look noticeably better than the remastered version anyway. So if they did charge for it, no one would buy it but at least this way, they can get some good publicity and maybe even get the people who havn't bought the dlcs to buy the dlc since it is only free if you own everything.

But yea, I always find it hilarious when people cherry pick what they are saying and don't include certain things to make their argument look better than it really should.

Both are trash in the way that they shamelessly bleed their consumers for money with scummy practices like online passes, preorder bonus ransoms, and microtransactions in full priced games, but EA is still the worse of the two, though not by much.
