It's incredible how the game has come out in so many little countries now and still not in France...

Maybe in relation to recent terror attacks? I don't know.... they may not want everyone running around outside absorbed in their phone atm.

If I had to guess, I'd say they originally intended for it to come out in France before those smaller countries but decided to change the order because of the situation in France. I'm sure commications infrastructure has been more stressed in France in the recent days, and the game might also not get the reception it would get in a normal situation.

European server is down.

I doubt it has anything to do with the attack, there are still a few countries that don't have the game after all. Here in Latin America we still don't have it for example.
