User retention after a week?

Yeah I dont get it.

with mobile games, particulary free ones the drop out rate after day one is astronomical. So the fact a vast majority of people logged in the 2nd day actually does mean something.

We are not talking about core gamers here where retention is measured months. We are talking about a grandson showing his grandma the app and downloading it one day, and her actually playing it a little the next.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

I've been playing this all week, my new obsession. I've met dozens of people in my neighborhood playing and at meet ups in nearby parks. Never seen anything like it and no idea how long it will last, but for now it is a sensation.

I wonder how different the numbers would be if it wasn't free!?

Industry average for user conversion rate in f2p games is about 2%, 10% is considered exceptional. So in latter case 2.4 millions.

It will only increase if they include Windows phones. Great effort Nintendo, hope more success comes your way.

It's already started to decline.

Viral marketing, game ain't that good.

I'm really tired of these crappy analysts. There is nosuch thing as retention after a week. If there was, many an mmo would have been a sucess.

The asian countries need to get their hands on this!

Pocky Lover Boy!

And it's not even out in Japan yet...
