what does npd has to do with this bet. Their numbers are always diffirent to begin with, as the 360 beats the ps3 every week except for two i think in vg weekly numbers.

I hope NPD's number agrees with VGC's number. Man, or else it'd be a huge blow to the credibility of ioi's number. it would have been 3 months in a row now.

So, what's the result? People are going to wait after NPD's number before any banning? Geez, I wonder what the point really is to use VGC's number in the first place.

I say, people just accept it and take a week off.

 

So.. what if NPD shows differently?

Well, it just says that SDF knows better, while gebx knows ioi better. ;)

Dont know about you guys (Im new here but I have been following the bet threads) but isnt the main point taken is that Sony's momentum in the US was not that great and that there was a lot more truth in the 360 shortages?

 It was, but there's shadow around the accuracy of the number, so people are not willing to just admit the result.

 

Which I thought was weird, since BOTH side decided to wait.

I'm not going to say if that was or was not the case but I will say.

Momentum is not measured by the other company's sales. I don't see comparing xbox to ps3 measures the "greatness" level of ps3's momentum(which is undeniable)

I like that there is some balance between Sony and 360. Having both healthy is good for everyone. Both companies are very competitive with each other and this results in better games no matter which platform(s) you buy.
