Can anybody tell me if it's running fine on a device with 1 GB RAM? I'm tempting to buy a phone just for that game. =P

And I still regret buying a Windows Phone!

Anyone can download it on android if they just get the apk!

Haha thats nice, but my Sony Xperia T (Yes T :D) cant handle it, its not available for it when i wanted to install it ! Haha
I mean i dont really care about Pokemon anyway, but it would have been nice to try it out^^

That's... interesting. I mean the decision to only release it in Germany and not the rest of Europe as well. I guess they don't want to rush things with all the server problems they've been having.

More importantly, if you are planning on buy a cheap android phone make sure it has a Gyro. Otherwise, your experience will not be complete.

The device they are talking about has 1 GB of RAM which seems sufficient to run the game, but the AR mode is disabled because the Moto G has no Gyro.

If you are eying a cheap android phone, make sure it's bloat-free, a Nexus or Motorolla phones. Some android phones have 2 gigs of RAM but they run terribly thanks to the pre-installed bloat. 

And yup, this is just one "AHA, I do need apps" moments you are bound to experience if you have a Windows Phone.

So yeah, just get a mid-range nexus phone.

Oh, thanks a lot, I nearly bought a Huawei P8 Lite for 179 €, but after some googling, it doesn't have a gyroscope! That's good to know. Welp, I searched a little more and below 300 € there isn't really an option. So I think I'll just wait until september and get the new iPhone. I wanted to get that anyway and I think I can wait that long for Pokemon Go. =)
