Gamemaster87 is his "friends" name. Really a true legend of the week. Personally I love the notion of Carl and CGI (The two moderators who are most likely dealing with him, are called Nintendo fanboys).

He shared his opinion. The mods don't like his opinion so they removed him from this forum. They behave like the Nazis against the communists.

It's a really weird situation, Gamemaster87 for his first 6-12 months was INCREDIBLY pro nintendo, then he suddenly started posting illogical Nintendo hate threads repeatedly until he got banned repeatedly.

As for the people saying there is nothing wrong with this deal and type of advertising... why in the F do you guys think that WB are settling out of court with the FTC over this deal? Do you guys really think there is no foul play done here when WB wouldn't even waste their legal teams time trying to defend the action but settle instead? if it was so easy to defend that a forum post of "this is fine" would do it... surely their legal team could have overturned the FTC ruling then?

 

Edit - The settlement which was agreed to was not a money amount but more restrictions on WB advertising through avenues like Youtube and social media from here on, each breach of which will result in Civil Penalties https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases/2016/07/warner-bros-settles-ftc-charges-it-failed-adequately-disclose-it

Yeah I'm shocked by the people who are OK with this. It's weird how sometimes consumers are the most anti-consumer folks out there.
