Forums - Movies & TV - Ghostbusters review: call off the trolls – Paul Feig's female reboot is a blast 4 / 5 stars

Most of the reviews I have seen spend as much time shitting on supposed MRA's because of their opinions than discussing the movie. So I throw those reviews out the window. Not that I normally trust reviews anyway.

I go by trailers and videos I see, and everything I have seen for Ghostbusters 3 has been just terrible.

And the trailer for this movie still comes nowwhere near the hatred directed towards COD:Infinite Warfare. So much for it being a misogynist agenda :P.

Reviews have been OK. I'll be checking it out this weekend.

IMDB isn't reliable in this case because I think some immature people are flooding the vote count with reviews based on their own agenda.

Both sides of this debacle have been utterly embarrassing.

It's a goddamn film. Watch it, don't watch it....move on with your life.

I don't understand why people find arguing over films like this worthy of their time. There are so many better things you could be doing with your life.

Sorry, but if the jokes are anything like the trailers, its crap. And I know those are in it, so yea, crap. And tired to death of the stereotypical black person to get cheap laughs. Ernie Hudson was great in the original, and he was FAR from a stereotype. And I won't believe any good review of this movie that uses the review to promote feminism and call detractors mere trolls or sexist.

Leslie Jones acts the same way in everything she does, watch basically any SNL skit she's in.

It's down to 63%, and odds are will fall further as more critics release their score.

What? It never went down to 63%. It's up to 78% now.

From what I see it's at 62%

You're right, it's not.

I was watching a bit of Ghostbusters II today, and honestly it's a fairly mediocre movie that only is passable because of the cast.

The first one was really good, but no 2016 reboot no matter which direction they took likely was ever going to touch that.
