Forums - Nintendo - Pokemon Go rumored to make $1.6m Dollars per day in US alone.

Wow, that's pretty good. I wonder how much would AC make on mobile.

I'd like Nintendo to just outright transfer Nintendogs to mobile because two of the bigger audiences for that franchise are casuals and females; two huge audiences that ditched Nintendo hardware for mobile.  In most cases, I'd refuse to put full Nintendo games and franchises to mobile but Nintendogs is one of those exceptions because the casual franchise is languishing on handhelds right now compared to the sales it racked up on the DS so rather than keep it on Nintendo hardware to slowly die, I'd rather Nintendo move it to mobile where the game's demographics are and let their money pile grow.

I actually think mobile works perfectly for the part of Nintendo that loves making short arcade-like experiences.  Experiences that are too short and unfulfilling for consoles and handhelds but just perfect for the mobile crowd that just needs to kill 2-10 minutes at a time.

basicly if it keeps this up it will match the best selling pokemon (red/blue) in worldwide revenue in 1200 days just for the US

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

This is where they can use the profits they make from this to perhaps to publish some IP's (ie - Bayo 2) and really make a bigger push with the NX.

The potential for this conversation to turn sour is high. Let's move away from the 3rd Party Nintendo + Sony talk.

Indeed. Its clear  Nintendo is the Handheld king just as Sony is the Console king.

To try use Android and Ios to say other wise is just the same as saying the same thing about Sony since the is more Smart TV's/Tablets and phones that can hook up to TV's then the is PS4's. However in both cases they are two different markets and should not be compared or used to say "Such a company should go 3rd party".

Not every Nintendo IP would translate well to mobile gaming for a start.

Lol just no.  Nintendo have the DS and Wii audience who've moved to Android and iOS (a huge percentage).  Pokemon go isn't even their full efforts at mobile.  Nintendo will drown in cash if they go full mobile.  They're wasting their time holding back the transition.  That doesn't mean quit consoles but eventually it does.

It's unlikely Niantic gets anywhere near that much. Publishers do not generally outsource projects for anything other than flat or fixed rates. Devs don't get a percentage of earnings unless they're co-publishing.

Most mobile gamers game on other devices, and nearly all console and PC gamers game on mobile. It's more like they decided not to get Nintendo's more recent hardware because it wasn't compelling enough. 3DS is the biggest user base currently this generation of gaming hardware.

You guys are missing the reason that Nintendo's stock is up 36 percent. It's not for 1.5 to 2 million revenue per day. Meta data. Nintendo will be able to sell information about places you frequent. It's like how facebook makes their money but on steriods. 2nd this is the 1st game I have ever seen that you could control user movements. I know if were a starbucks owner I would pay a fee to have my location be a mart or gym.

Software sales would suggest otherwise and game releases.  The pc / X1 / ps4 / iOS / android is where it's at.  The mobile take over wasn't complete when the 3DS released.  A lot who bought that will not be interested in a successor.

Impressive. Truly impressive.

Like i said. Nintendo is to Handheld just as Sony is to console. For you to want one to leave means you should want the other to leave. But your going to just keep ignoring this since your blinded by Sonys greatness. So lets just agree to disagree...

So much wrong with this post.

This has nothing to do with Sony.  stop drawing up a tangent that's completely irrelevant.

Secondly I didn't say I want Nintendo to leave the handheld market.  I'm simply just analysing the current dying handheld market and booming mobile market and saying what they should do.  This isn't personal buddy.
