Who started it?

The drug dealer who was told not to move yet was still trying to reach the gun in his pocket.

The drug dealer (was he even a drug dealer?) who was pinned down on the ground by two people, unable to breath and who on the civilian video (y'know, cause the body cams just happened to randomly fall off of course) doesn't appear to be reaching for any gun, and it isn't even clear if he had a gun in the first place? That guy?

Trigger happy cops that dont think twice before killing/murdering someone, anyone can buy a machine gun or a sniper even a fucking lunatic. America is one scary place.

I'm not scared but I don't go out much besides to friend's apt/house.  I don't need a gun to feel safe.  The biggest gun I'd buy would be a BB/pellet gun just to fuck around with shooting at targets.  I probably do the world good by not owning a gun.

lol, is it even confirmed the shooters are black?

Anyways, that fucking sucks for those victims and their families. Is it really that surprising though? Cops so carelessly shoot so many young black males. It wouldn't be shocking for a few of them to fight back.

Yep, and those young black males were doing nothing wrong or stupid at the time. /s

Soooooooo because they were doing something wrong/stupid they deserved to get shot by a careless cop? Like the 12yr old black kid who was shot in the park because he was playing with a toy? Or the one who was just shot in a traffic stop because he was reaching for his license? You mean doing stuff wrong/stupid like that? :-/?

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

You're actually more likely to kill yourself than to be killed by someone else here in the US. Homicides aren't the leading cause of death that everyone likes to make them out to be.

I don't agree with the killings at all, but this is what happens when a group of people are subjected to police brutality, police shootings and the like for over a decade and things have only got worse instead of better. People give up on justice and fairness and innocent people end up paying the price for it.

The Shooter(s) are definitely in the wrong, but they are just as guilty as anyone who has helped an officer walk free after committing murder or an act of police brutality, just as guilty as those who have got the corrupt officers off lightly and just as guilty as those in power who have sat idle over the years and not done anything to help make things better.

I say what I say out of fear because I don't see this getting better and this leads to more innocent people being caught in the crossfire. The police will be more on edge now than before add they will know there are people out there pissed off enough to take them out. Many Black people will be pissed off because the police won't admit shit and their treatment will probably get worse. It will be an endless vicious cycle.

this is pretty much how i feel.

hell,.. i'm the whitest guy in the whitest neighboorhood and i'm still afraid of the police.  about 3 weeks ago i saw a traffic cop kick in a guys door for stopping at a stop sign when the cop was waiving him through.  the anger issues and god complex of the police force is a problem.  they don't deserve to be killed but the level of inaction is unacceptable too.

Unless they buy them on the black market, no they cannot.  You could buy a semi-automatic rifle and attach a scope to it, but that's not going to compare to anything the military uses.  And fully automatic weapons are outlawed.

The problem we have here in the US is the left's persistent desire to make black criminals innocent, while making all cops guilty racist in the eyes of their supporters.  So even when the evidence comes out that the cop did no wrong, and the vast majority of the time this is the case, they still perpetuate the lie. Just like the continuing of "hands up, don't shoot," when we find out that Brown's criminal partner lied about that.  It creates an us vs them mentality, which causes many blacks to feel the Dem party is looking out for them.  When in fact they are pushing a lie to continue to gain their 95%+ support of that community.  And those who do not automatically jump on the cops are racist bandwagon are labeled racists, as well.

What this all leads to is black neighborhoods becoming increasingly unpatroled and more violent. The residents will call the police to protect them and their belongings from a gangbanger, but then be more pissed at the cops if the gangbanger gets shot, cause "he was just a young black male and you're just a racist white cop who only shot him for being black." The police are more likely to show up late, or not at all, when the residents (and even the city) don't have their back when it was justified.  It also continues a problem that politicians can claim they will fix, yet haven't for the decades they have run those cities.

Welp if BLM were expecting police reform in USA,after this i wouldn't hold my breath.

No, this should be a wake up call that things need to change because people will not accept being mowed down by cops.

Clearly, reform is needed more than ever.

You know, saying that suicide is more prevelant than homicide doesn't make America seem any less scary to folks aborad lol!  Some may say that actually far worse.

Its very interesting how drastically different the views are.
"The systematically racist cops go out of their way to kill blacks, just for fun!"
"Its all the black people's fault, they deserved it!"
And many more, often very extreme views.

Maybe the world is a bit more gray than that? Maybe it isn't so black and white? :/

Killing cops helps no one though. It disrupts the entire justice system, and inspires more violence on multiple fronts.

Won't happen ofcourse, cause low taxes are more important.

Do you realize how much is spent on police force pensions and benefits, and the militarization thereof (buying tanks and hellicopters in small suburban municaplities)? What does low taxes have to do with anything. It is mismanagement of the taxes they have.
