Yeah, Sleeping Dogs blew Watch Dogs out of the water. It would be criminal if Square Enix doesn't let United Front make a proper sequel now that the spinoff has been cancelled.

To be fair Sleepy Dogs had its issues with story telling, boring missions, bad gunplay, tedious side stuff. But it was really charming and had an enjoyable fighting system. I dont think there is an open world game with more hilarious bugs either.

I dont really feel it needs a sequel per se. Maybe a new IP that has similar game mechanics.

I didn't hate it. Sure it was a bit Meh in places and the story was just bad, but I had a lot of fun with it and the hacking mechanic was always enjoyable. Pumped for the sequel!

I don't understand the hate either. Surprisingly to myself, I enjoyed both Watch Dogs and Sleeping Dogs more than GTA V.

Though, after playing it for a few hours at launch I shelved the game for a month or 2. But when I returned, I enjoyed it more and completed it within a week (that's fast for me). I really liked the possibilities that "hacking" added to the gameplay even though the act of hacking in itself was rather shallow.

 

I'll definitely play Watch Dogs 2.

It was a somewhat good game but I expected more. Would rather play gta if I was playing sandbox.

Yeah it was pretty much the graphics for a lot of people. Personally, I thought the graphics were good, but Ubisoft did hype everyone up with a gorgeous demo at E3 and it just didn't reach that. It's pretty stupid, but that's how it is.

Yeah, its arguably better than GTA4 but thats like a 7 year difference. Frankly, mission checkpoints alone could have made GTA4 more tolerable.

The DLC for GTA4 though is fantastic.
