I see MS's lack of having a consistent message continues.

It comes from being overly reactive and not being confident enough to commit to anything. Grab positive headlines first, then the reality sinks in later. Sounds like Xbox games on Windows 10 is really only meant to help out with game sales for the duration of the time until the Scorpio drops. This already tells me they're going to burn the bridge to the Xbox One sooner rather than later. Scorpio is likely a new gen machine with Xbox One b/c.

I think the Xbox one will at least be supported up until Scorpio 2 or until Halo 6.

Even more reason to not buy an Xbox, yay!

Did you even read the new update?

Megaton. My ps4 + pc combo looks the perfect choice now. Happy days :)

This would honestly be a selling point for me as someone who's sick of having to buy two copies for PC (with some games generally the superior experience and a group of friends there) and console (to play with other friends).

I went PS4 this time around but if the consoles were generally equal and the Xbox version offered something like this, I'd probably be swayed by that.

Probably doesn't apply to a great many people though.

That's an odd statement by Phil as it doesn't seem to go against what PC Gamer was saying...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

"could be" is very odd wording. Sounds like they aren't even sure themselves.

They changed the wording everything to E3 only - based on "could be"?

If they are talking about kinect games - they could have just said "all games, except kinect games".

I wonder why they changed their statement. Maybe they changed the statement because damaged Xbox's sales ?

It seems like they are undecided whether it will hurt Xbox consoles in the long run so just to be sure they have given themselves an out.
