in short, Absolutely not, both will see a boost from GTAIV, there's no point in cutting prices.

No, but there will probably be bundles, which kind of resembles a pricecut. I do not believe that MS and Sony need cut the price to sell huge wads of GTA IV!

when was the last time a huge multi platform game was bundled?
I think that both consoles will see a massive surge in sales with the release of GTA4 anyway so there is no need to bundle/cut prices! Sony would be in a better situation to have more sales if the PS3 (40GB) was $299 in the US but i don't think that will happen for a while yet, possibly around the launch of Resistance 2 in the follow-up to the holidays!

I expect a PS3 price cut for later this year in all regions and a 360 price cut for the US. I don't expect this in time for GTA IV or MGS4.
Certainly I and most people here had thought MS would, but there hasn't been any rumours and we all know how good MS has been at keeping secrets...
So at this point I agree, probably bundles more than price cuts, but effectively 'Free GTA with 360 - includes 'x' months of Xbox live'
I don't, i think MS & Sony know thier consoles will see a boost in sales and will want to sell their consoles at the price they are now for a long time and get as much money out of GTA as possible.
