I think the thing to keep an eye on is the jousting between the PS4 and the 500gb slim. In my eyes the 2tb and the Halo bundle are being picked up by the die hard fans who already own an XB1.

MS are really not doing themselves any favours here. Yes they'll sell a stack of consoles because of these deals but it's not even out yet and they're giving away free games:

1tb version $350 (is normally $350)

500gb version $300 (is normally $300)

I guess you can't know them for going hard on sales:

So, for the ones who already have the Xbox One, can they  get the console  for 100US$ ?

They win August. 2 month worth of  pre-orders for the 2TB console, plus nearly a entire month of sales, then a nearly 3 months of pre-orders for the 1TB and 500GB. It would be beyond embarasssing if they can't pull that off.
