Honestly, I doubt the NX version will look dramatically different.

If NX does turn out to be a system in the ballpark of PS4/Xbone, we're probably looking at 1080p/30fps with tweaks to things like textures, shadows, and draw distance, but not a drastic overhaul.

My bet would be 1080p/30fps with changes to enemy and grass draw distance, increase in the size of the area loaded in full detail, higher res textures, and AA usage.  Which will drastically step up image quality but won't be a giganic leap.  Basically, it will be a lot like The Last of Us.  Assuming a PS4/Xbone ballpark.

Yeah I think it will resemble a lot of PS4/Xbone remasters of PS3/360 games.

Just wait until we see the visuals of the NX version. I have a strong feeling that what most of us will be playing next year will look quite different than what we saw at E3.

I dunno.  You may be right that the game may still run at 30fps (although I'm hoping for 60), but for some reason I'm thinking we're going to see a pretty big difference between versions in the end.  Basically, compare the 2014 E3 debut to this year's showing.  I'm really hoping for the former's visuals on NX:

I could be wrong, it's just most multiplats between PS360 and PS4/X1 haven't been drastic overhauls, just refinements, and assuming NX is in the latter's ballpark, the power gap would be similar here.

Lol.... good luck with that. Ninty people hype everything to all hell and back. By their standards, almost every Nintendo game made is the best game in the world. Let them have their fun.

Yep, that's why games like Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, Metroid Prime: Federation Force & Paper Mario: Color Splash have gotten such strong hype among Nintendo fans.

Lets not forget the censorship HYPE of TMS#FE!!! I mean look at them dislikes!

Personally I think that NX has been the lead platform for this game for a while now.  This E3 they had to show us the WiiU build, but after NX is unveiled I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo just focuses on promoting that version going forward.

It's just that with a game like this, just making one version would be insane amount of work, so I can't see them sinking too much extra work into differentiating the two beyond just polishing and adding a few extra flourishes.

I dont agree, all new Zelda looks great in every possible way, and they showed hours of gameplay not just trailer and small gameplay, that is very legit reason to be hyped.
Its Zelda and actually it's looking great and like one of best Zelda games ever, of course that people will be very hyped.:)

Nintendo after quite time gave us great reason to be hype and now Pavo saying we need to calm down. :)

PS: The game from the look of the trailer will have a lot of open landmass without a single thing to look for. Hopefully people understand since now that the game will noy be as dense as some expect.

Even world doesnt look dense, Demo showed that is full of possibilities and things you can do in that world.

I think it deserves all the hype it's getting personally.

Nope. I'm sold and excited. It's been a long time since I saw a Nintendo trailer like the one we saw at E3 where I was like, holy SHIT. It totally took me by surprise and demonstrated that Nintendo really decided to go full hardcore this time... like the N64 days.

I'm turning the hype knobs to 11 and staying there lol

The Zelda Cycle is real.

But in this case it's not just the fact that the Zelda Cycle exists. It's the fact that this game truly breaks ground for Zelda in a way we legitimately haven't seen in almost 20 years. This is how I imagine people looked at OoT in 1997 as they prepped for release the next year.

Anybody expecting the next X is going to be disappointed anyway, because Zelda Cycle; those expecting a good Zelda will almost surely be satisfied and then some.

Personally, if this is OoT, I cannot wait for the modern day MM.

I definitely could see Nintendo using Zelda BotW engine and assets and make another darker Zelda game, similar like MM done with OoT. And Nintendo would definitely not need another 5-6 years of development, they could make project like that in 2.5-3 years.
