First things first for you access those features on other systems you need to pay, and while I agree that Nintendo should have voice chat with friends(but even if it doesn't have it,why does that matter? I don't know about you but my pc is near my Wii U so if I wanted to play with friends online we could just use Skype or something else its not like you don't have any other options and Skype is not that difficult to download or make an account just saying),I think that vc with random people should be something the shouldn't bother with since a)VC with random people in MK8,Splatoon and SSB4 would be annoying and b)my brother plays GTA V all the time,he did it on the PS3 and PS4 and he rarely has to mute people and most of the time he is an full room so allot of people might not be use with it.
Also did you really just use SMM as an example has to why VC and online,since that game is not at all about multiplayer and about creating course and uploading them online and to play other peoples levels, yes even your friends levels, and a traditional Zelda should never be online since it's unnedded and not every game needs to have a multiplayer mode

So you if NX is a great console with a bunch of masterpieces but it does not have voice chat on its first party games you are gonna skip it? Well... Is your choice, what more can I say.

This, I've hardly ever needed to talk to complete strangers via  a mic for a good number of years now, if anything I play with what the teams do or use whatever voice options are given to me. With friends I simply use Skype of Steam chat since both allow for text and voice options and are of higher quality than most game MP voice chat systems. These days I hardly find MP based voice chat to be useless, if anything it still remidns me that there will always be a few of those people that love to talk crap to anyone like it's CoD all over again, wasn't fun last gen, wasn't fun ever.

For me the NX just needs to have a decent amount of HD space if not allow for me to swap it out. I don't really care for achievements or recording gameplay, I can easily buy a capture card for that instead, all without having to tell the game to record or pop out of the game to extract or send some recording to some social media site, I can just use the cap card and record whatever I do and edit later on with my PC, simple as.

All I want NX to ever be is a console first and foremost, not like the other two in trying to emulate and fail at being a PC, I have my own rig that fulfills all of that.

I agree with Online Gaming but in most games its not my deciding factor of buying the game and most certainly not in the decision of buying the console.

So you want NX Games to have those features, since the Wii U is capable for voice chat, online etc., just not implemented in the games themselves

Do people even talk to randoms in online games?? I never here shit from anyone.
Also Discord exists. Just use it to talk to mates while gaming online.
I do agree though that Nintendo needs to stop focusing on couch co-op when online exists. I don't see why a 4 player 2D platformer can't be online.

Aslong as the NX offers better preformance for there games like Zelda running better on NX, ill be a day one buyer. If they just port it across with no improvements then ill be rethinking it
