Fabian Doehla was not joking when he referred to hearing devs being very excited for the NX, he works for CD Projekt Red and Sega, so whatever developers know, he is likely aware. Fabian also leaked the original Xbox in 2000 by accident, so those claiming he doesn't know anything are being presumptuous.

He was joking, check his twitter replies. People were posting articles sites were making based on what he said and he was replying to them with this.

Whoa, this is again being taken out of context. I read the entire section of interview that you are discussing here, and he joked he was from Bethesda, yes. And then he said that they were making those everything is awesome jokes, BUT he said he really had heard from devs that the system was going to be great. That part he was not joking about, it was the wording that he used that he said was in a joking manner. The system itself he said very clearly he believed would be a great system, and that devs are very excited for it. THAT was real.

posters/journalist are way to eager to print/post stuff they want to be true and/or think will get hits- they don t confirm anything- all they have to do is hear about it and repeat it w out concern for acuracy
