Is that why it was delayed?

I know.  If thats the reason, I am pissed beyond days.  

Legal issues can be a reason, but I bet it just needs a bit more polish. 

It's really the fault of the legal system.  They way it's designed, they have to go after everything or they lose the right to go after anything.  They might not necessarily care about a small indie game but then a big corporation could come along and argue that they didn't defend their trademark and take it.

Reminds me of how Apple tried to fuck up a small German café specialised in selling cakes and other tasty stuff with apples because, you know, only Apple wants to use apples.

Probably. It would be quite stupid to release a physical game (digitally you can just re-name the game easily) if you can lose the trademark.

Didn't Sky try and stop MS using the word Skype just because it sounded similar and could cause confusion to their customers? How pathetic can it get.

Companies have been known to file for injunctions to prevent the release of a product over trademark disputes.  So there is a real possibility that he hould have been faced with that had they launched before the dispute was over.  

That is true, hopefully it wasn't that and it needed more polish, because if it was that, well I would be angry.
