There is also pretty much stuff from phil or other members from xbox praising sony, if just all fans would be like that.

Interesting actually... you regularly see Phil Spencer, Yoshida or other people at Microsoft and Sony praising their competition, Nintendo it is a very very rare thing.
Xbox and Sony congratulate each other on succesful launches all the time.

Who? I meant someone who we know. Someone who's regularly on stage at a conference. Reggie? Miyamoto? Iwata?

They also throw insults much more at each other. You barely see Nintendo do few responses on competitors, only really Reggie does, because he is generally forced to, but he does not really do that often and it is usually run of the mill generic boring PR from Reggie.

Just think about it. The big blockbuster ip's from sony The creative minds and legendary nhistoric.characters of Nintendo. I see what you mean, but I think a partnership between Sony and Nintendo makes less sense today than ever before. The two companies are drifting farther and farther apart in terms of design philosophy, in both the hardware and software departments.
Ultima 7 in 1992 had a fully open world. Day/Night cycle, dynamic weather, you could literally pick up everything and interact with it. you could cook. NPC's would have a day night cycle too hwere you would find them at their shops during the day, in their house at evening, in the bed at night and your compagnions would abandon you if you would go into strangers house and steal stuff that didn't belong to you.
You could also finish it without completeing the plot.
The new Zelda looks incredible and fun and is definately something I want to play, but it does not do anything that hasn't been done before. One could even argue it strays quite a bit from it's original formula.
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

We'd have to play more of the game to be sure, but I'd say it actually returns to the original formula provided in LoZ while bringing with it some advancements that occured in the series over time. Most of the things in this game aren't even new for Zelda standards. It is just interesting to see them all in one game.

Yes, I know that. I just wasn't aware of Shuhei Yoshida praising Microsoft in the past.
This is why I like Sony and Nintendo. They're never salty and recognize the greatness in each other.
On the other hand, you have Phil from Microsoft being salty and petty about everything.
