I liked it, she sounded a bit ethereal not generic or anime sounding imo

My ideal choice would be Frans VO from Final Fantasy XII

i disagree. It sounds exactly how i would expect it to sound. Which is good most of the time. Not every approach to a voice job should be the "charles martinet approach". Have had a little work in college with voice direction/acting and audio in general. It has my thumbs up. But really, for all we know, it may be the only time we hear it so i'm not sure this post was worth the time to visit. Guess that makes me dumb.. :)

I only heard the opening cutscene. Didnt see much besides that (plan to change that this weekend). It seemed fine there.

We should also consider there are 2 elemenst to VA: the script and the actor. The VA didnt have much to work with; Nintendo probably just gave her the script. Besides, what kind of amazing VA techniques were you expecting for an alarm and guide?
