Forums - Gaming - Let's pretend we're not all biased on this site: Nintendo didn't win E3.

Each to his own, don't force judgements upon opinion. Then it's no longer an opinion. One game for me did outdo Sony because we basically knew about all the games that were coming out or they were leaked. The surprise factor wasn't there for any game they showed for ME except for God of War 4. I like surprise and Zelda for me had that element of surprise and overall wow factor. I like stylized games so it doesn't matter how it looks. Looks should not be a determining factor of deciding these things. really. If you disagree then fine.

lol no way can nintendo win E3 with just that zelda trailer. for fucks sake, Horizon is leaps and bounds more impressive than Zelda. then add spiderman, GoW, Days Gone, Detroit, The Last Guardian, Resident Evil 7, Death Stranding, and a lot of other games at Sony's, and its not even a contest.

i can make the same arguments for Microsoft, Bathesda and Ubisoft. but you get the point. you cant "win" E3 with just that one trailer.

OFC you can , its called having an opinion.

and bad taste at gaming along with it

You talked about not being biased, and you proceeded to insult two companies (Well Zelda and Microsoft). Bravo Bravo.

It's not even bias though. I'm always the first to call out Sony when they are underperforming/not showing good games.

But come on. The facts are here. Whatever preference in gaming you have it's literally a fact that Sony showed more and better looking games than their counterparts.

You could have accomplished your message by not dismissing the other two in such a manner, hence why it is amusing to me, saying don't be bias, but proceeding with a bias.

I'm a huge Nintendo fan and i agree with this 100% even with bias.

It may not have win the E3, I don't really know who is saying that, it must be a minority, but that Zelda trailer was by far the most exciting trailer of this E3.

Let's pretend people have opinions

...Nintendo fans are pretty weird imo

The ironic thing is that they seem to be the first to say that other companies reuse a formula too much... Weird

Idk why gamers are so insecure btw, if your company showed something that you like, then for you your company won.

Let's be unbiased, there is no definition of what counts as a "win" at e3.

Everyone has opinions and the only way to say who "won" and who didn't is how their businesses perform down the line, and their is a clear 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the moment.

Not sure why people think 1 game can automatically put Nintendo in first place and winning E3 over Sony. Kind of odd.

Zelda looked like Wind Waker 2.0. Outdated visuals. I honestly don't see anything special with it. But I know it will be super duber fun.

Microsoft fell flat.

Sony had literally no bad game showings except getting everybody hyped for a new Crash game only to find out it was just a remaster of the old games (like seriously?) and it's still hard to show VR on stage. Plus that price. Yikes.

But other than that Sony's games clearly eclipsed everybody else. I don't think it was even close. I wish people wouldn't be biased when discussing these sort of things honestly.

Discuss.

Disagree entirely about Zelda, outside of poor textures the art style works perfectly and looks beautiful. Not everything has to be some dreary, photo-realistic world lol

Personally, I wasn't as blown away by Sony as most but felt they won practically by default. They're the only console where I actually wanted some of the games aside from Nintendo's Zelda.
