Forums - Gaming - Let's pretend we're not all biased on this site: Nintendo didn't win E3.

Not sure why people think 1 game can automatically put Nintendo in first place and winning E3 over Sony. Kind of odd.

Zelda looked like Wind Waker 2.0. Outdated visuals. I honestly don't see anything special with it. But I know it will be super duber fun.

Microsoft fell flat.

Sony had literally no bad game showings except getting everybody hyped for a new Crash game only to find out it was just a remaster of the old games (like seriously?) and it's still hard to show VR on stage. Plus that price. Yikes.

But other than that Sony's games clearly eclipsed everybody else. I don't think it was even close. I wish people wouldn't be biased when discussing these sort of things honestly.

Well if we are going to not be biased, then lets all agree that EA lost...

Nintendo didn't win E3, because the only new game shown or announced is that new Mario Party for the 3DS. To be fair, this year has been way weaker than 2015. But at least Nintendo with Zelda alone did better that the whole 2015 E3 Direct.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

You talked about not being biased, and you proceeded to insult two companies (Well Zelda and Microsoft). Bravo Bravo.

let's not be biased, and let's say that this e3 was a brilliant marketing stunt for their NX launch title.

lol no way can nintendo win E3 with just that zelda trailer. for fucks sake, Horizon is leaps and bounds more impressive than Zelda. then add spiderman, GoW, Days Gone, Detroit, The Last Guardian, Resident Evil 7, Death Stranding, and a lot of other games at Sony's, and its not even a contest.

i can make the same arguments for Microsoft, Bathesda and Ubisoft. but you get the point. you cant "win" E3 with just that one trailer.

It's not even bias though. I'm always the first to call out Sony when they are underperforming/not showing good games.

But come on. The facts are here. Whatever preference in gaming you have it's literally a fact that Sony showed more and better looking games than their counterparts.

Zelda U looks like Zelda slapped on a very blend/boring open world. My non biased opinion.

Nah. Nintendo won E3 hands down. All the games I saw from Sony were pretty much the same with little tweaks. GoW looked like TLOU with vikings. Horizon looked like TLOU with bigger space and robot dinosaurs. Then there's the biker TLOU with zombies. Its like Sony pointed all their studios at ND and said 'See that? Make more of that!' and we all got cookie cutter 3rd person games as a result.

Really? No bad games? Have you missed the part with Days Gone?
