Usually when I look forward e3 I look for games I can play on my console this year and the upcoming year.

MS showed plenty of console games for this year and next year,

Sony showed plenty of console games for this year and next year.

Nintendo showed no console games coming out for Wii U next year and only one game for next year. Now Zelda and Pokemon were great but the quantity wasn't there and i feel underwhelmed.

They'll show the games when they unveil the NX. The question is when is that going to happen.

Well the moment they said they weren't going to reveal the Nx you had to know this wasn't a year they'd be competing with anyone for "Best presentation" outside of perhaps "Best game" which, I suspect, Zelda would be in the running for.

They're in full Nx mode right now, you won't be seeing any huge reveals for the Wii U at this point.

Nintendo is now pretty much irrelevant in console gaming. They want to make their own show backed by their exclusives in which people have less interest (sales number don't lie). After PS4 Neo and Xbox Scorpio NX looks like irrelevant.

it's funny cause just one game stole the attention of the press and gamers, so maybe was not a big conference, but was big for their biggest game ever. so they won in a way. Marketing for the NX Launch title.

Yeah... Microsoft and Sony certainly had a good showing this year. Nintendo are saving for the NX reveal, we'll see what more they have then, but yeah... they certainly didn't win e3 imo.

Yeah that sucks for Nintendo fans imo. It's really hard to justify quality over quantity when the others seem to have both.

Right, and wouldn't they want to launch it this year?  We have know it has been in developement for a long time, but now there are new PlayStations and Xboxes coming out next year (ok, assuming the new Sony is coming out then.)  Do they really want to go head to head with Microsoft and Sony?

I'm really surprised they didn't show anything.  Maybe they are really delaying the thing till the get it right.  Whatever their right is. 

It's like they want to have a new Wii Revolution.  But with everyone going to VR it's going to be less of a niche.

Will it still be a lost if thr NX reveal is E3 Hype later tgus year? I mran we known for mobths nothing was really going to be announced now right?
