The sites I read said no controller with the $299 version, which makes that a no buy, since the 1TB comes with a controller and is $349.  There's also no dedicated Kinect port, so new Xbox purchasers will have to buy a USB adaptor if they want Kinect (I guess if you can prove you bought your OG Xbox One, they'll give you a free one.)  So yea...looks like MS hasn't learned a thing.

Edit:  In the fine print on the video, you can see that it says stand and controller sold seperately.  They wouldn't include the controller, too, if it came with one.  The only thing I can think of is they took one out completely to save money OR it just comes with an old one, not the newer controller.

The Polygon article says all models include a contrller in the update.

All the info you need is on Xbox.com right now. It seems pretty sweet. I'm going to wait on the Scorpio, though. You better believe I'm kicking myself for buying one about two weeks ago. I knew this slim was coming but I couldn't wait.

- HDR apparently also has an effect on games
- 4K blu-ray playback included
- $399 starting price, 2TB model coming in August

Too expensive for me with the Scorpio coming next year. I thought the point of a slim was to reduce the price... I don't have any 4K blu-rays yet otherwise I might be more tempted. So far there's only one I'm interested in. I can wait. 4K tvs are only getting better the more patience I have :)
